Little Lantern privacy policy

PickBits publishes Little Lantern. This policy describes the Android edition, including optional advertising and real-money gem packs when available. You can play without creating a game account or buying anything.
Your game and device
Game progress, costumes, settings and purchase delivery receipts are stored on your device. You can export a save yourself. This edition has no authenticated cloud-save account, chat or public social profiles. Clearing app data or uninstalling can remove progress. Consumed gem packs are not permanent products that Google Play restores automatically. Importing an older save can replace newer progress.
Children and age choices
Little Lantern welcomes children and adults. On Android, we ask for an age range, not a birthday. The range stays on your device, outside exported game saves, and is not sent to our purchase service. A protection flag derived from it configures advertising. Children, teens and people who do not state an age receive child-directed and under-age ad treatment, without personalized or remarketing ads. All ad requests use a G content cap. The app removes Android's advertising-ID permission. We do not sell children's personal information or use it for behavioral advertising.
Optional Google ads
Rewarded ads are optional and provide an in-game earnings boost. Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform may process IP addresses, device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostics to deliver ads, prevent fraud and operate their services. Protected-age requests disable advertising-ID transmission. Adult players receive Google's applicable privacy-choice flow. Required ad privacy options are available in Settings. Gem purchases
Google Play handles checkout and payment details. Little Lantern does not receive payment-card numbers. A random credential created on your device binds purchases to that installation. Our purchase service sends purchase tokens to Google's Android Publisher API to verify payment. It keeps a hashed token ID, a hashed installation identifier, the product ID and gem quantity to prevent duplicate delivery. Purchase tokens and credentials are not deliberately written to application logs. Hosting and network providers may process request metadata, including IP addresses, for delivery, security and diagnostics.
Retention and your choices
Local game information stays until you remove app data, uninstall or replace it with an imported save. Our purchase ledger retains delivery records while needed to verify purchases, prevent repeated grants and resolve disputes; it has no automatic expiry. Service providers retain operational logs under their own configured retention practices. Contact us to request access to or deletion of information we hold. We may retain limited transaction records where needed for fraud prevention or legal obligations. We will explain any applicable exception. We do not sell your personal information.
Parents and purchases
Parents can use Google Play's purchase-approval controls. A multiplication question separates the paid shop from play for protected age bands; it does not verify identity or replace Google Play payment authorization. Costume parcels contain random virtual items. Odds, duplicate rules and guarantees appear before spending gems. Gems and costumes cannot be traded or exchanged for money.

We update this policy when the game's data handling changes and show the revision date above.
